On the Caddo River in Glenwood, Arkansas

Firepit Properties, LLC was formed to develop short term recreational rental properties on and around our Broken Arrowhead Ranch ("BAR") in Glenwood, AR. This ranch fronts the beautiful Caddo River for about 3.5 miles. The BAR has been a working hay and cattle ranch since it was purchased in 1963. Our family and friends visit the ranch often and enjoy hunting, fishing, floating the river and trail riding. Some of our favorite things about the ranch is that it gives us access to the crysal clear Caddo River, there is always an abundance of wildlife and there is plenty of privacy and space to roam with the convenience of having access to shopping and dining just a few miles down the road in Glenwood, AR.

Glenwood, AR is a small town in Pike County, AR. It shows a population of only 2,100 people, but Glenwood services many surrounding communities and also has a thriving canoe and kayak rental business that attracts people from other areas. But, even with the visitors, the river and the town never seem crowded. Glenwood also has one of the top ten golf courses in Arkansas. Glenwood is a short 45 minute drive from Hot Springs, AR where there is horse racing, casinos and lots of dining and entertainment options.

This rental business was formed with the idea of sharing parts of this beautiful property and letting others explore any of the outdoor activities that are available in Glenwood and nearby. Our Buckshot cabin is the first property we have completed to rent and our goal is to develop other river front or river access locations on the property in the future, that will not interrup the ranch activities.
